VIDEO: A VOICE Develops Young Storytellers

A VOICE – Art Vision and Outreach in Community Education fosters individual, group, community and cultural vision and expression through art, outreach, and education. They provide arts programming led by experienced artists and authors for youth in rural Tribal communities on the Flathead Nation who may not have had such opportunities. Their programs aim to instill skills, confidence and a love for the arts and provide participants with the tools to become expressive art makers, moving storytellers and engaged citizens.

We are proud to support A VOICE through our GO! Grants Program. These quick-turnaround general operating grants support nonprofits that support youth and families living in Western Montana’s rural communities. As part of our commitment to maximizing the impact of our grants, we facilitated a collaboration between A VOICE and an amazing GO! Grantee in Ravalli County, MAPS Media Institute.

MAPS Media Institute, known for its talented students and expertise in multimedia production, created a compelling video showcasing the impactful work of several GO! Grantees. This collaboration not only amplifies the work of these amazing nonprofits, but also highlights the power of partnerships within our GO! Grants Program. We invite you to watch the inspiring video below, produced by the incredible students at MAPS, and learn about the positive change A VOICE is sparking in their community.

Thank you for watching!
