Help Shape a Healthier Future for Western Montana: Join Our Board

At Headwaters Foundation, we believe that the people closest to the issues are also closest to the solutions. That’s why we’re excited to invite new voices to our Board of Trustees – leaders who bring lived experience, community knowledge, and a shared commitment to improving health across Western Montana.

We’re currently looking for two new trustees to join our board. Ideal candidates live in Western Montana and bring experience in areas like philanthropy, law, finance, or community organizing. We are particularly interested in trustees with experience in high-level financial strategy, nonprofit budget oversight, impact investing, and endowment management to help guide the foundation’s long-term stewardship and sustainability. We also strongly encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences—including Native community members, rural residents, and those who have navigated poverty—to consider applying.
