VIDEO: Cultivating Connections Builds Community Through Food
Cultivating Connections, based in Hamilton, Montana, uses food to build community through education, participation, and celebration. Starting as an experiment in organic farming, they evolved into a farm classroom that brings people together with a goal of growing food while sharing knowledge, empowering youth, fostering wellbeing and providing mentorship and job training. This group is truly living up to their name, bridging gaps between kids, teens, and adults in their community.
We are proud to support Cultivating Connections through our GO! Grants Program. These quick-turnaround general operating grants support nonprofits that support youth and families living in Western Montana’s rural communities. As part of our commitment to maximizing the impact of our grants, we facilitated a collaboration between Cultivating Connections and another amazing GO! Grantee in Ravalli County, MAPS Media Institute.
MAPS Media Institute, known for its talented students and expertise in multimedia production, created a compelling video showcasing Cultivating Connections’ impactful work. This collaboration not only amplifies Cultivating Connections’ message but also highlights the power of partnerships within our GO! Grants Program. We invite you to watch the inspiring video below, produced by the incredible students at MAPS, and learn about the positive change Cultivating Connections is sparking in their community.
Thank you for watching!
