Free Communications Webinar Series for Montana Nonprofits
Communications are part of everything we do as nonprofit workers, from programs and fundraising to advocacy and volunteer recruitment. They’re essential to building relationships, increasing support, and moving people to action through stories. And yet, with everything else on our plates, it can be hard to find the time to step back, evaluate what’s working, plan ahead, and think strategically about our communications.
That’s why we’re excited to offer a free three-part lunch-and-learn webinar series this October. We’re partnering with Big Duck, a worker-owned cooperative that helps nonprofits strengthen their communications, to bring practical, hands-on sessions designed specifically for busy Montana nonprofits.
Each one-hour Zoom session is built to fit into your schedule and will offer practical skills, tools, and ideas you can start using right away, along with time for questions and conversation with other nonprofit leaders. If you can’t make a live session, register anyway! We’ll send recordings and materials afterward.
The series will take place from noon to 1pm MST on three consecutive Tuesdays:
- October 6: Nonprofit Communications Planning in an Increasingly Crowded Landscape (register here)
- October 13: Telling Compelling Stories and Using Narratives to Inspire Action (register here)
- October 20: Tips for One (or No) Person Communications Shops (register here)
We’re always looking for ways to support our partners beyond grantmaking, and this series is also a chance for us to hear about our partners’ communications challenges, what’s been most helpful, and what kinds of resources would be useful in the future.
We hope you’ll join us and share this invitation with any colleagues who might be interested. We’re looking forward to learning together!
