She/Her

Cari Cuffney

Pragmatic idealist, data nerd, thought partner. Cari brings years of state government experience in health and human service policy development and service delivery to the Headwaters team. She has worked with a range of federal programs spanning Medicaid, child welfare, mental health and substance abuse, early childhood, and, more recently, coronavirus response and housing. Cari is thrilled to join Headwaters and the communities of Western Montana in their work to ensure healthy, thriving communities for all. She holds a bachelors in anthropology and political science and a masters in population health sciences. Outside of work you’ll find her hiking, running, skiing, or backpacking in the mountains with her husband or hanging out with her (very spoiled) flock of backyard chickens.
